by Pierre Jules Mene, Paris FR (1810-1878). Signed on base. A setter frozen in the instant, of having scented a bird. Mene has really captured the intensity, of the dog on point. Titled by him "Chein Epagneul" Ca 1855, 10 1/2" long. Excellent condition with a fine rich patina. |
