This Great New Hampshire 8 Day Tall Clock
is attributed to Silas Parsons of Swanzy, NH.
The clock has 8 day brass works
with moon dial and date.
The fine Chippendale case is cherry
with a wonderful mellow patina.
The bonnet has fluted chimneys
with original finials,
and fluted columns with brass fittings.
The case also has fluted quarter columns
and rests on a double step bracket base.
The condition is all structurally
original with a small piece
of the left fretwork replaced.
The works are original to the clock
and have the original hands, weights and pendulum.
