A Great Connecticut Cherry Serpentine Front Chest
with Canted Corners, from Norwich CT.
Attributed to Felix Huntington.
A similar chest documented to Huntington
is in the collection
of the Hartford Steam Boiler Corp.
The conforming top with a beaded edge,
over 4 serpentine drawers with beaded edges,
over bracket feet.
The canted corners follow,
from top to case to feet.

A fine old mellow patina.
Excellent condition with original
brasses marked "JH" on bails.
