5"Antique Whales Tooth with Silver Mounts.
Made into a Match Safe.
A very interesting adaptation.
The silver lid has a scalloped edge,
on the tooth mounting with "Matches" engraved,
and a shield with an engraved Flying Fish.
CA 1850.
some small dents in lid,
and a crack in the back of the tooth.
