The Hanebergs Antiques - China Trade Painting of the Nine Stage Pagoda at Whampoa

A nice China Trade painting of the Nine Stage Pagoda at Whampoa Reach. Whampoa Reach is on the Pearl River about 10 miles south of Canton.
The painting has very nice detail showing the shipping in Whampoa Reach, where the China Trade ships had to stay and load their cargo.
The merchants in Canton sold their cargoes and bought Chinese goods for the return voyage home. These cargoes had to be sent by smaller boats to Whampoa
to be loaded onto the European and American ships.
Measures 12 1/2" by 16 3/4" oval and 21" by 26 overall.
